The power of kindness and compassion is truly amazing, and nowhere is this more evident than in the recent outpouring of support for the Compassion Books at Children’s Hospital 1. In just one day of calling for book donations, Mr. Phu Sach and his team were able to gather an incredible 437 books in a variety of genres for the sick children who desperately need them.
The generosity of the donors has been nothing short of inspiring, with individuals and organizations from all walks of life coming together to contribute what they can. From Ms. Tran Dai Trang’s bookshelf to Mr. Khanh and Ms. Van’s five bookshelves, the donations have truly made a difference.
But it’s not just adults who have been getting involved – even the little ones have been doing their part. Baby Tran Thanh Dat’s donation of VND 500,000 and Ms. Phuong Uyen’s donation of coloring books and colored pencils show that everyone can make a difference, no matter how small.
With the first phase of book donations now closed, the hospital and bookshelf space are limited, but the impact of these gifts will be enormous. We hope that the children will find joy and solace in the books, and that they will be able to use them to learn, explore, and dream.
